We all have those moments when you just want to wear something fuzzy, fun, pink and/or girlie. And you should absolutely take advantage of those times. BUT, if you’re like me, you see all these adorable women running around with these cute ass outfits but no matter what you do, you just can’t find the right outfit. We’re here for you, we feel for you, and we’re here to help you. So, take some notes, here are some adorable outfit options, but we’ll also lay down some just all around great advice when it comes to creating these adorable ass looks! First things first, we always recommend starting with some light colors, i.e. Pink. Or Yellow, pastels, really anything light but try and stay away from wearing all dark colors. You’ll want that little pop of color!
When we’re looking for an outfit we usually have a specific item that we’ve already just fallen in love with. So what are we saying? It’s easier to build an outfit once you already have at least something to start with! For example, we found a pair of pants over at DollsKill (Sun Velvet Bell Bottoms) and we’re in love. They’re light, they’re comfortable and they’re soooo cute. So what if you’re not interested in wearing pants? Well the great news is that there are so many other great options! Another personal favorite of ours is the Ocean Moon shop. If you’re looking for adorable patterns, cuts, and just all around different looking pieces look no further. Find tons of options like these Kylie Velvet High Waisted Bottoms in different patterns and fabrics! But remember, try and stick with those lighter colors!
Another great outfit essential with bottoms like these Kylie Velvet ones is rocking those cute ass fishnets you’ve been dying to put out of the pack! They come in so many color options, but rocking the traditional black ones can never steer you wrong! You can always snag a set of 4 over here at amazon! I use them and they have different hole sizes to give you a different look every time! I 10/10 recommend them!
So if you’re still not feeling the exposing bottoms, then I absolutely recommend grabbing a pair of shorts OR an adorable skirt to pull on over the skimpier part of your bodacious rave booty! Again, our oh so talented fashionistas over at Ocean Moon have some of the cutest skirts to pair with any outfit, but you can also find some personal favorites of mine over at Freedom Rave Wear ($$) (save 10% with KFYDONUTS), iHeartRaves ($-$$) or even just head over to Amazon ($)! Rolita Couture ($$) also has some brand new, exciting bottoms that they’re dropping soon so make sure you check out some of those options too! But don’t forget, try and stick to the lighter colors.
So now that we have our bottoms, lets talk tops!
Tops
Obviously, it goes without saying that you’re going to want something that matches whatever (in this case) bottoms you’ve already become obsessed with. If we were starting with a top we would be looking for matching bottoms, so on so forth. You guys get it. SO now lets talk tops.
Again, a lot of different options but a few placed that we think have really great options top wise are Freedom Rave Wear ($$), Ocean Moon ($$), DollsKill ($$-$$$), and iHeartRaves ($, $$). Depending on what your budget is, you could look through all of these sites before you decide you’ve found the top to complete the basic foundations of your outfit. To just continue off of the outfit that we’ve already started creating, with the bell-bottoms we’re looking for a cute, tight top that’s going to accentuate curves of the body and don’t take away from the statement that the pants are making! Of course, if you’re going to go with the mesh bodysuit/top option, we highly recommend investing in a solid pair of pasties that won’t fall off the second you start to get a little hot! If you’re not sure which ones are going to last, I definitely recommend snagging some from Freedom Rave Wear, they’re the best price and of course always handmade with PLUR in every cut! What you’re going to notice is that the colors either compliment or are neutral in comparison to, the lighter colors of the outfit!
Now you’ve got this adorable ass outfit… But what kind of shoes are you going to wear?!
Shoes
This is going to vary from person to person and what your personal preference is. Personally, I like to wear something that gives me a little extra height! So you guessed it, platforms. Now, if you’re going for a more comfortable look though, you can wear whatever shoes you want. I see a lot of people who wear tennis shoes to the rave and honestly, their feet are probably in heaven in comparison to some of the other choices that I see at the rave! As you all know if you’ve read my Rave Outfits: The Basics page, I’m a big support in wear what you’re comfortable in and what makes you happy! But for the outfits sake, lets go ahead and give you guys some bangin’ options!
Like stated above, I’m a big believer in platforms but you don’t want to choose just any! I tend to stray away from the traditional platform ‘heels’ and look for either a boot or a flat platform shoe! These are some options that I’m very obsessed with and would be great choices for any festival/rave! All of these beauuuuuties are from DollsKill. With that being said, I highly recommend going with whatever you’re the MOST comfortable in. Although I love platforms, they aren’t always the best option for everyone, especially if you’re going to a festival that might be a little more on the muddy side!

As always, an outfit is never complete without the perfect accessories! I’m a huge fan of having a cute bag, especially one that’s going to be able to hold all the things that I like to take to shows! But, don’t forget about the amazing different options you have at your disposal in terms of body jewels (we personally recommend check the ones out at Gypsie Shrine or Lunatic!) but then you also have jewelry, chains, necklaces, pasties, you name it!.
