Imagine Music Festival (IMF) has been held in Georgia since 2015. This highly diverse event boasts not only a totally immersive experience, but also a totally diverse lineup. Learn about what you should expect if you plan on attending this amazing event!

Imagine Music Festival is a 3-day, music and camping event based in Georgia since 2014. This makes it one of the longest-going festival in Georgia. IMF has previously been housed at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, but for 2021 they’re picking up shop and moving to a new location! Outside of providing a totally immersive experience for attendees, they also are known for the diverse, and IMO awesome, lineups that grace their stages annually.

About the (new) Location

As previously mentioned, Imagine Music Festival for the past several years has been housed at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, however, for 2021, the location is moving. Talks of moving the event started in 2019, so it’s exciting to see those talks come to fruition! We can expect things to be a little cooler this year versus being in the middle of the Speedway. Not to mention, there’s going to be so much more space.

Bouckaert Farm

The new home of Imagine Music Festival is one that most EDM lovers likely area familiar with. Bouckaert Farms was the home of TomorrowWorld before it cancelled the event after it’s 2016 bankruptcy announcement and 2015 weather debacle. The new venue location is a major upgrade from the Atlanta Motorspeedway- going from 900 to 8,000 acres.

According to the co-founders of the event, Maddy and Glenn Goodhand, there are several huge takeaways that moving to Bouckaert Farms will present for IMF. Mainly, the total immersion in nature and art. For those of you who haven’t attended Imagine in the past, the festival is known for creating amazing art structures and experiences for their attendees, so the extra space is going to be put to good use.

What’s the Vibe?

IMF is an immersive festival that brings to life their “Aquatic Fairy Tale” theme. Outside of just creating decorations and art that bring this theme to life, IMF also boasts four stages that also bring to life their fairy tale theme. Expect to see even crazier outfits, characters, and art installations this year!

Outside of just having an amazing play-ground to immerse yourself in for three-days, the people are a huge bonus! The IMF crowd ranges from demographic, age, etc. You’ll always see someone different no matter where you look.

Camping At Imagine

With the move to the new location (and promise of improved infrastructure), camping at Imagine is going to be an amazing experience! The new location at Bouckaert Farms promises tons more space (8,000 acres to be exact- in comparison to the 900 they had at the AMS). When discussing the new camping location with the AJC, co-founders of the event share sneak peak ideas of camping in forests and pathways through the trees! Of course, you can also expect art installations and totally immersive experiences (per IMF standards)!
