5 2021 NYE EDM Events I Bet you Didn’t Know About

After a hiatus from NYE events in 2020, 2021 NY EDM events are coming back with a major bang. There are several new events having their inaugural years this year. These are the top 5 that I bet you didn’t know about, but need to be on your list this year as a STRONG consideration.

2021 NYE Music Festivals

1. Zero Gravity

When this lineup dropped my phone rang off the HOOK! I personally feel like Louisville, KY is the best place to New Year (but that’s just me). This event is boasting a huge lineup and supporters to boot!

I’m pleased to see that they’re throwing the event in an arena which means there will likely be plenty of space! Another grate point to make for this event is that Louisville has a ton of different things to do around town so you can occupy your time during the day!

Although this lineup is a smaller than others on this list, it’s boasting a lineup that’s very different. Clozee is currently on tour with a brand new Neon Jungle tour, along with a NEVER before seen B2B between Griz and Zeds Dead. It’s one you won’t want to miss!

2. Wobble NYE

Another lineup that dropped and had my phone BLOWING up. Wobble NYE took everyone by a total surprise in all of the best ways. Not only are they offering a true, ‘festival’ experience for NYEs, but they’re giving you a stacked as hell lineup to boot!

If you’re looking for a killer vibe with a great crowd vibe and freaky wubs, this is definitely the event for you! Tickets did sell out very quickly for this event, so if you’re going to purchase second hand make sure you follow all of the important tips! (Only Paypal Goods & Services, trusted sellers, etc.).

3. countdown Campout

After hearing that Insomniac was taking over Okeechobee Music Festival, I assumed there would be an influx of events for them to follow and… there was!

Hitting the first of the lineup, Countdown Campout. With a truly Insomniac lineup (diversity, talent, etc.) there’s an artists on this lineup for everyone! Not to mention, who DOESN’T love a camping music festival in the middle of the winter?

If you’re looking for an event to be surrounded by beautiful scenery, a diverse lineup, and good vibes, then this is a great option to consider! Not to mention, this is the inagural year of Countdown Campout (it’s an extension of the already very popular Countdown NYE which is also an Insomniac event).

4. HiJinx

HiJinx isn’t a festival that I would classify as BRAND NEW but it’s definitely one that’s a little newer! Although this event used to be a strict Bassnectar headline, but, RIP. However, the event came back with some stacked artists to fill the void. Alison Wonderland will always get a HELL YES from me.

Not to mention, the location for HiJinx is a really great one! It is a standard coliseum festival which means usually plenty of room, lots of air flow, and a diverse festival lineup. In addition, Philadelphia has some other amazing locations to visit during the day to keep you entertained while waiting for the event.

5. Lights All Night

Although this festival is one of the more major festivals out there, but it’s a tried and trusted event that I think anyone should experience at least once! Not only do they always have a great setup prepared for their attendees, but their lineups are also AMAZING. 2021 is needless to say stacked just like in previous years.

If you’re interested in something that has a rather diverse range of EDM genres, this is a great festival for you! Lights All Night hosts a range of various genres from heavy, to house, to techno, and more. Not to mention, the crowd at this event is unrivaled!

I attended in 2019- 2020 and it was an amazing event. You can check out my Lights All Night 2019 review to learn more about what the experience is like, but I do give it a solid 5/5 stars!

New Years Eve events are some of my personal favorite events to attend! Not only are there tons of different high-line options that are worth a visit, but there are also a ton of different, first year options that I bet you didn’t even know about! Drop which events you’re going to be attending down below!
