Dr. Martens Festival Shoe Guide
Finding reliable shoes for festival season can be tricky and slightly stressful. Having the right pair of shoes can make or break any event. However, there are a few brands out there, Dr. Martens being one of them, that deliver a superior product, customer service, and quality. So, I’m sharing the best pairs of Dr. Martens festival shoes that you need to have in your festival closet. Items with a star next to them are my personal favorites!
Boots (non-platform)
I always recommend having at least one pair of standard Dr. Marten’s boots. Although I am a huge lover of their platforms (detailed later) sometimes it’s nice to just have something simple and lightweight! These are my favorite options that fall within that department- the sole of the shoe is outstanding and can easily withstand 5-10 festivals per year for a couple of years before needing to be retired to periodic, short-term wear.

Okay, so admittedly, the platforms section of Dr. Marten’s is a bookmark on my computer. I’m always shopping them! Not only do I personally feel like they’re more comfortable, but I also love the added inches they give me and workout I get when I wear them to an event. I’ve tried wearing other types of plats (such as Demonia) but they just weren’t cutting it on the comfort front. My Dr. Marten platforms have lasted me years, one pair dating back to 2017 (yikes).
