Top 5 Gifts for a Festival Lover

When it comes to festival goers it can be hard to figure out what to get them! There are so many different options, and it can be hard to figure out what they would even like. Be the best festival gift giver for that festival lover in your life! Below are some of my favorite festival gifting ideas.

Hydration Packs

Having a hydration pack is a festival goer must, and if you’re like me then having several option isn’t out of the question. I have a few that I have become obsessed with over the years. There are others that I’ve tried that didn’t necessarily wow me so much.

Camelbak 4L Hydration pack (REI), Vibedration (Vibedration), KandiPak (Amazon)

My Camelbak is my typical go-to for any festival. I snagged this one about 3 years ago, on sale at REI. It’s a 4L bag and let me say, totally full it’s v heavy. Other than that, it’s great. I have a ton of pockets all over the place, and it’s waterproof. The bladder opening is my favorite of all my hydration bags- it twists open and close is super easy to grab and close while waiting for the bag to fill up. EVEN MORE IMPORTANT- the closing latch for the mouthpiece is PERFECT. It has a switch that you flip up and down to open and close, and it has the jelly mouthpiece. Aforementioned Cambelbak is on the far left above! A newer pack that’s recently come into my life that I’m pretty excited about is the RaveRunner, which some would say is becoming a top ranker for one of the best festival hydration pack on the market. Outside of just a pack, it gives a little extra ‘customization’ which I like! I’ll have a video up about this bad boy soon, so keep your eyes out, but until then head over here to get some details about one of the best festival hydration pack.

I also have two other hydration packs that I love using, but if you can’t tell I love my Camelbak. My Vibedration is one of my more recent purchases, but let me just say that I love it. It’s cute, and it has enough space for my pack and extra items. My Kandipak is another great option! Although it’s not my favorite, it gets the job done. I’m a little more limited when it comes to space.

Portable Chargers

If you’ve never been to a festival then let me just say, this is a festival essential. If you, or your festival loving person, don’t have one then you need one. I bought my first portable charger about three years ago and it’s sadly at the end of it’s lifespan at this point. However, I’ve recently invested in a portable charger that is outrageous. You can get about 4 total days out of it or 5-6 total iPhone charges from total zero.

Flow Toys

These are some of my favorite things to see at music festivals. Not only do people come up with amazing ways to use their toys, but they have customizations that are amazing! I personally love my GloFX space whip, however, I know there are a lot of whippers that love their FiberFlies. I love everything about my whip aside from how it feels when I’m using it a little too rough. It’s durable and honestly, I’ve taken it through hell and back a couple of times. Disclaimer though, I haven’t really mastered how to program the lights, however, I’m v happy with what I’m usually able to accomplish!

If you don’t think that whipping is for you, make sure you check out alternatives like hooping, staffs, orbs and even fans! There are tons of different LED customizations you get for some of them as well which makes them even more exciting! Below are some amazing websites/companies that sell these toys!

Accessories & Clothing

This section has endless possibilities, however I’ve saved room to mention my favorites amongst this group. I’m a sucker for a cute bandana. They make easy gifts, and honestly are a great addition to any festival lovers wardrobe. Throw in some glitter, a hat, or cute t-shirt/top and you’re all set!

Probably one of my all-time favorite gifts was the Pinecone I was gifted during my very first Bonnaroo. It was a really great experience- I picked a cone that spoke to me and it’s an item I almost never leave home without. Although they can tend to run a little pricey- they’re amazing gifts that anyone would be thrilled to have! I also recommend letting that person pick the cone out in person. If you’re not looking to wait though- you can find some great pinecones online from Third Eye Pinecones. They also typically have booths at festivals you can buy from too!

Another must have that they’ll likely thank you for later are quality earbuds. Going to festivals will take a toll on your ears, so indulging in some good quality ones will always pay off in the end. I’ve owned several different pairs over the years and I’ve decided on a few that I’m crazy about. Surprise surprise they’re both off Amazon! The first ones are the ‘Rave High Fidelity Ear Buds’. They were great and the best part? You get two pairs which was really ideal for me and my boyfriend. The second pair are Downbeats, also off Amazon. These only come with one set per order but they’re also great. I usually forget that I even have them in! Which is a total plus when you’re just trying to enjoy the music. Each one also comes with their own case for storage, which is important if you lose everything like me.
